A Halloween update
Subway Surfers City 2.6.1 reached the APKCube archive on 2 October 2026. It replaced version 2.5.2.
The developer's notes say the headline addition is Phantom Park, a time-limited district with spooky, otherworldly mechanics. There is also a new Weekly Wonders event with a Halloween theme, which pays out Halloween Tokens.
Those tokens are spent in a new Halloween Shop, which the developer says sells time-limited Outfits and Avatars. The notes also mention an exclusive Football Outfit for Jake, tied to football season.
What comes next in the game
The developer's notes say a new Season starts on 7 October. A fan wiki for the game lists the current Season of Ash as running from 9 September to 7 October, with Ash, a Flamethrower and the Home Runner board as its featured rewards. That is a community source, not the developer.
