Oniri Islands

What Oniri Islands is and who it suits

Oniri Islands is an adventure game for two players. The characters are Mina and Tim, two children stranded on a mysterious island while searching for their shadows. The developer says it is made for players aged 6 and up.

In the TOYS version, Mina and Tim are presented as smart toys that come to life on a tablet, and you move them around the screen to explore the island.

Playing together in two modes

The game is built for a pair of players who share it. Each game is set up for two people, with Mina and Tim as the two characters.

TOYS mode needs the two physical toys, which the developer sells as a game box ordered through its website. NO TOYS mode drops the figures and runs on a smartphone or tablet, controlled with your fingers.

Exploring the island and its animal masks

The island is described as a poetic world to explore together. Along the way you find animal masks, and each one gives the character a magical power needed to survive.

Visual style, music and narration

The art is minimalist and colorful, with a poetic tone. An original soundtrack runs throughout.

An English voice-over guides the players through the adventure, so the story is delivered by narration rather than text alone.
