This page needs its stylesheet to be shown
The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.
Allow CSS for this site — including in any content blocker or privacy extension that may be stopping it — then reload the page.
More Politics, Entertainment, Football and Business News. Less data and memory.

Opera News Lite is a news reader from Opera that the developer describes as data saving. It collects headlines and articles into one feed and supports 60+ countries and languages. It suits someone who wants current news on a phone without a heavy app running on it.
The For You tab gathers the stories the app picks for you in one place. You follow channels, and the AI news engine chooses content that matches your interests. The developer says the feed improves the more you use the app.
The build we hold is Opera News Lite - Less Data 2.7.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 6.0 and up.

The developer also says your preferences and personal information are kept secure and that the app does not share your private data with anyone.
The briefing is five stories a day, organised by the app. It mixes major headlines, local news and developments on topics you are interested in, and it updates through the day.
Breaking news alerts can appear directly on your home screen, so major stories reach you without opening the app first.
Football news covers the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1, which the developer says are included among the international competitions covered.
Beyond sport, the app carries original articles from more than 5000 contributing writers. The developer says tens of thousands of new articles are updated every day.
The app supports 60+ countries and languages at the same time, so news from several regions can sit in one app.
The developer says the app is designed to ease concerns about phone memory and mobile data, which is the main reason it is built as a lightweight reader.
