Orange Max it • Money Shop TV

What Orange Max it covers and who it suits

Most of what people do on a phone comes down to three things: watching something, listening to something, and moving money. Orange Max it puts all three next to the Orange phone services, so a person does not have to hop between separate apps to do them.

The listing describes it as a mix of Orange Money, mobile line management, TV and entertainment, a shop, and messaging. The same app and account can be used across several African countries, which matters if you travel between them.

It suits someone who already handles their Orange line, mobile money and viewing on the same phone. If you only want a chat app or only a TV app, this covers more ground than you need.

Sending money and paying with Orange Money

The Orange Money side lets you open an account in a few clicks, and the listing says you do not need to be an Orange customer to do so. Once it is set up, you can send money and receive it, with transfers described as instant.

Payments can be made by scanning a QR code, and bills can be paid from the same place. The money side is the part of the app that connects most closely to the rest, since transfers can also start from a chat.

Checking data, airtime and buying bundles

The line management section shows your data and airtime use as it changes, so you can see where your balance stands without opening a separate menu.

From the same screens you can buy data bundles and add airtime, and manage your Orange services with a single tap. Top-ups are described as taking just a few clicks.

Watching live TV, series, movies and sport

The TV side carries live channels and catch-up TV, so you can go back to a programme you missed. The catalogue also includes series, movies, football matches and short dramas, with both local and international titles listed.

Music, gaming and eSports sit alongside the video. The listing mentions interactive experiences as well, and says you can book tickets for concerts and events from the app. The shop lets you buy things without leaving it.

Messaging friends and family with money in the chat

The messaging part works like a basic chat app: you talk to friends and family and share things with them in conversation.

Its distinguishing feature is that you can send money to someone inside that conversation, so the payment sits next to the message that asked for it.

Signing in and using it on a weak connection

You can create an account and sign in with a phone number, an email address, WhatsApp, or a social login. Verification uses a one-time code (OTP) sent to you.

The listing says the essential services keep working on a limited internet connection. It also describes the experience as smooth, fast and secure, though that is the developer's own wording.
