Learn origami step by step with paper art tutorials and folding
By Mei-Lin Chua
Contributing editor, apps and storefronts
Origami Fold & Paper Craft is built around paper folding. The listing describes it as a place to browse paper fold activities, paper craft designs and folding guides in one spot. You pick a design, then move through it fold by fold.
It suits people who want to learn origami from the beginning, and people who already fold and want new designs to work through. Because each guide is laid out in stages, you can follow one model from its first crease to the finished piece.
The build we hold is Origami Fold & Paper Craft 1.0.3 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

Each design comes with a guide that shows every stage of the fold. The visual steps are meant to make each crease easier to follow, so you can check the next step before you make it. You can then review the shape you have reached and continue.
You set your own pace. Nothing in the listing describes a timer or a set schedule, so you can stop at any stage and come back to the same design later.
The app includes folding levels, which are a set of challenges you can work through in order. Each challenge gives you a target shape to reach, and you complete it one step at a time.
These challenges work as practice beyond the guides. They ask you to fold a shape from a target rather than copy a single model.
Designs you want to practice can be opened again, so you can repeat a fold until the sequence feels familiar. This makes the app usable as a repeat reference for the same models.
Beyond origami, the listing also covers paper craft designs. These sit alongside the folding guides, so you can switch between a folded model and a craft project in the same app.
