What PandaVPN is for

PandaVPN is a VPN proxy for Android phones and tablets. The developer positions it for streaming, social apps, calls and gaming, along with everyday browsing. Its main difference from a plain VPN is how much control it gives over which traffic gets tunneled.

Servers are listed in 100+ countries and 200+ regions, with named locations such as the United States, Saudi Arabia, UAE (Dubai), South Korea, Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and India. The developer says data is unlimited with no bandwidth caps. Subscriptions are weekly, monthly or yearly, and each plan limits how many devices can connect: 3, 10 or 20.

Choosing which traffic goes through the VPN

Smart Mode picks the routing automatically. The PandaVPN Protocol mode lets you set split tunneling by hand. You can send all traffic through the VPN, all traffic except one region, one region only, social media only, or only the apps you select.

Anything outside those rules stays on your local network. This is useful if one app needs a foreign server while the rest of the phone should keep its normal connection.

Ad blocking, DNS and traffic rules

The ad blocker runs inside the VPN tunnel. Custom DNS settings are included, with a DNS changer for switching resolvers quickly. IPv6 is supported.

For apps that check the device's location against the VPN region, an optional GPS location matching setting is available. Advanced rules can match by IP address, CIDR range or domain, and the app can block malicious IPs. A real-time network speed readout shows throughput while connected.

Sharing the connection over LAN

The VPN connection can be shared with other devices on the same local network through an HTTP or SOCKS proxy. A laptop or another phone on that network can then route its traffic through the phone's VPN.

This only applies while the phone is connected. Each device on the plan counts toward the limit for that plan.

Encryption and the no-logs policy

Connections are protected with AES-256 encryption, and the listing says the VPN hides your real IP address behind the chosen server location. WireGuard and the PandaVPN Protocol are the underlying protocols.

The developer says it runs a verified no-logs policy. Browsing history, traffic destinations, data content, DNS queries, IP address and connection timestamps are listed as not collected. The listing says a free trial of 3 days is available on the yearly plan to eligible new users only.
