Trace any image onto paper: lock your screen, lay paper over it, and draw.

Papercopy is a tracing app for Android phones and tablets. You show an image on the screen, lay a sheet of paper over the display, and trace the lines through the paper with a pencil or pen.
The listing says you need no printer, light box or special tools, only the device and paper. It suits people who want to copy a picture by hand without printing it first.
You can open a picture from your gallery, take one with the camera, or pick from the built-in Explore library. The listing describes Explore as hundreds of ready-made drawings in categories including animals, characters, patterns and lettering.
The AI feature takes a written description of what you want and produces a clean outline to trace. The listing does not say which AI service it uses or how the outlines are generated.
Zoom, rotate and pan controls let you size the image to fit your paper and position it where you want it on screen.
The lock canvas option blocks touches on the screen, so the image does not shift while your paper and hand are on the display. That is the step that keeps the outline steady during tracing.
Brightness and contrast controls are meant to make the image visible through heavier paper. The listing presents them as the way to bring lines up when the paper blocks the light from the screen.
Together with the lock, these controls cover the main tracing task: the image is sized, held still, and made clear enough to follow.
The build we hold is Papercopy: Trace & Draw 3.3.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.
