The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Play ProtectPassword manager with 2FA codes, passkeys & autofill. Offline AES-256 vault.

Password Safe is a password manager for Android that keeps its vault on the phone itself. It also stores two-factor authentication codes and passkeys, so logins, codes and keys sit in one place. The listing presents it as a fully offline tool, with sync available only if you choose it.
It suits anyone who wants a password vault without an account or a company server holding their data. The listing says the vault is encrypted on the device before any sync leaves it.
The whole vault is encrypted with SQLCipher 4, using AES-256 with HMAC-SHA512. The key comes from your master password through PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA512 with 256,000 iterations and a random salt. The listing says the master password is never sent anywhere and that the developer cannot recover it.
The app works without a network connection. Cloud sync is off until you turn it on, and it writes to your own Dropbox or Google Drive account rather than to a server run by the developer. Biometric unlock with fingerprint or face, auto-logout after inactivity or when the screen turns off, and self-destruct after failed unlock attempts are listed under the Pro upgrade.
AutoFill fills saved logins in apps and browsers. A built-in generator creates strong, unique passwords when you add an entry. A strength indicator and usage statistics show which entries are weak or used often, and you can favourite the ones you open most.
When the app copies a password to the clipboard, it clears the clipboard automatically. Password generator widgets put the generator on your home screen, and a Wear OS companion app is listed for smartwatches. Password history for each entry is part of the Pro upgrade.
The built-in authenticator generates TOTP one-time codes without a connection. You can scan a QR code to add a service, and after AutoFill signs you in, it can copy the current code to the clipboard. Keeping the code in the same entry as the password means the login and its second factor are not split across two apps.
Passkeys can be created, stored and used next to classic passwords. The listing says they stay on the device and in your own vault.
Entries can be sorted into custom categories, and the Pro upgrade adds multiple categories per entry, bulk assignment, custom fields you can reorder and reuse, and archiving for old entries. Attachments of images and other files can be added to an entry in Pro.
A step-by-step import takes data from Bitwarden, KeePass (.kdbx), 1Password, Enpass, SafeInCloud, Chrome, Google Password Manager, iCloud Keychain or any CSV file, and keeps categories, custom fields and 2FA secrets. Export goes to CSV, while Excel, PDF and printing are listed under Pro. An encrypted backup file can be restored on a new phone.
The build we hold is Password Safe and Manager 10.0.1 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.
