Pathao Merchant is the merchant-side app for Pathao Courier, a logistics company in Bangladesh. The developer describes it as a way to place and manage orders and to receive payment on deliveries. It is aimed at businesses that ship goods through Pathao Courier and want to handle that from a phone.
The app covers order creation, invoice details, store management, payment details and the merchant profile. Those pieces are meant to be used together, from signup through to the deliveries themselves.
Orders are created inside the app and managed from the same account. The developer lists invoice details as something you can view for each order.
A notification system is included for activity on your orders, so you do not have to check the app constantly to see what has changed.
You can manage stores from the account, so orders can be tied to the business they belong to. The merchant profile holds your business details and can be edited there.
Payment information is kept on the account. The developer says payments for deliveries are received through it.
Signup is a single step. After that, a guided onboarding journey walks new users through setting up the account.
Short tutorials are included as well, which the developer calls mini tutorials. They are meant for learning specific tasks without leaving the app.
The developer lists six services: express delivery, nationwide service, fulfilment solutions, corporate and contract logistics, reverse logistics, and cash on delivery. These are the delivery types you can place orders for through the app.
Cash on delivery is the option where the recipient pays when the parcel arrives. Reverse logistics covers returns moving back from the customer.
