What Photo Block is and who it suits

Photo Block is a picture puzzle game from Gamezilla, sold as a paid app on Google Play. Each board is filled with coloured picture blocks, and the job is to clear them all by matching pairs of identical images.

The developer lists it for kids, teens and adults, and the store rates it USK All ages. It suits people who want logic puzzles that take planning rather than reflexes.

Sliding and matching blocks on each board

Blocks slide in any direction where there is open space. Two identical picture tiles that line up are removed from the board, so each move changes which pairs can be reached next.

The developer describes the controls as one-finger play. Because a poor slide can leave tiles blocked, the game is built around thinking a few moves ahead to avoid getting stuck.

Levels, difficulty and in-game hints

The listing advertises hundreds of handcrafted puzzle levels. New boards unlock as you go, and difficulty increases through the set.

When a board stops being solvable from where you are, the game offers hints to help you get back on track. There is no countdown or time pressure on any level.

Playing offline on a phone

The developer states that Photo Block needs no internet connection, so levels can be played anywhere, including without a signal.

Sessions can be short or long. The developer pitches it both as a quick brain workout and as a slower, relaxed puzzle session.
