Pocket Sniper! is an action game published by JP Group limited and rated PEGI 12. Every round is played through a sniper scope, so the main skill is getting a steady aim and picking the right moment to shoot.
The developer describes it as simple shooting with a puzzle element, which means each stage asks you to work out a shot rather than simply reacting quickly.
You aim by holding the screen and dragging the scope across the target, then release to fire. The shot happens on release, so the aim is set before the trigger.
Moving targets need a timed shot. The listing says you should time the release for the best result, so you wait for the target to reach the right point before letting go.
You can upgrade your weapon during play, and the listing suggests doing so regularly. Upgrades are paid for with coin.
If coin runs low, bonus stages are the listed way to earn more. They are separate stages you play to refill your coin before going back to the main rounds.
Targets are not limited to people. The developer lists buildings and fuel tanks as things you can shoot for extra effect.
There are five sniper rifles to collect, and each one is used on different maps. Ammo is infinite, so a missed shot can be retried without running out.
