POLYGONIA— a creative sandbox of building, destruction, and fun!
By Mei-Lin Chua
Contributing editor, apps and storefronts
Polygonia Sandbox is an open-world sandbox game set in a polygon-based world. The developer presents it as a place to build, drive and break things, with no fixed objective given in the listing. It suits players who prefer making their own scenes to following a set path, and the listing gives it a USK 6+ rating.
Most of the game is about the tools you use on the world and the vehicles or structures you put into it. The sections below cover building, vehicles and destruction.
The build we hold is POLYGONIA SANDBOX! 0.11.4 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

The build tools cover bunkers, towers, rollercoasters and traps. The listing describes them as a way to shape the world directly, rather than picking from fixed prebuilt pieces. You can build on your own or, according to the listing, together with other people.
The developer says the maps are large enough to explore. Builds placed on them stay in the scene you made, so the same map can hold many different layouts.
Vehicles on the list include tanks, helicopters and cars. The listing also lets you invent your own machines and customise them one piece at a time. Changing one part changes how the whole vehicle is built.
The developer says vehicles follow physics, so the machines you make respond to terrain, collisions and each other. Players who enjoy testing a design by driving it will get the most from this part of the game.
NPCs and ragdoll players react to the world and to you. The listing describes pushing them, saving them, destroying them or simply messing around with them. Their reactions depend on what you do to them.
Explosions are part of the same polygon style as the vehicles and buildings, according to the developer. Blowing up structures you have built, or ones already on the map, is one of the main ways the sandbox is played.
