Play ProtectPOSHAN Tracker gives a holistic view of Anganwadi Centres
By Irfan Rosli
News editor
Poshan Tracker is published by the National eGovernance Division of the Government of India. The developer describes it as a single view of Anganwadi Centres, the day-to-day services their workers provide, and the people who receive those services.
The people it is built around are Anganwadi Workers and the supervisors who oversee the centres they run. The beneficiaries it tracks are pregnant women, lactating mothers, children from birth to 6 years, and adolescent girls.
The build we hold is Poshan Tracker 25.3.14 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

The listing says the app covers all Anganwadi Centres, so activity at each centre can be followed in one place. According to the developer, this monitoring happens in near real time rather than through periodic reports.
The same view extends to the workers. Their service deliveries and the beneficiaries they serve are tracked alongside the centre record.
Anganwadi Workers use the app to record the services they deliver. The listing does not break these into separate types, but it names service delivery as the core of what the system tracks.
Because each delivery is tied to a centre and a beneficiary, the records can be read at both levels.
The app keeps beneficiary records in four groups: pregnant women, lactating mothers, children aged 0 to 6 years, and adolescent girls. Each group is handled as a separate category of beneficiary.
Keeping these records in one system is what lets a centre and its supervisors follow the same people over time, according to the developer's account of the system.
