What Prayer Times and Qibla covers

Prayer Times and Qibla is a daily prayer timetable for Android, aimed at Muslims who want prayer times and alerts for each prayer on their phone. The listing describes the times as accurate. The core times are Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha, and the app can also show Imsak, Shuruq, Duha, Midnight and Qiyam as optional times.

Beyond the timetable, it adds a Qibla compass, a Hijri calendar and a lookup for the nearest mosque. Reminders, adhan sounds and home screen displays are the other main parts of the app.

Calculating and importing prayer times

The app offers several calculation methods for working out prayer times. If you already have a timetable, you can import it from a CSV file instead.

The optional times can be turned on alongside the five daily prayers, so the same screen can show Imsak before Fajr or Shuruq after it.

Prayer reminders, adhan and Do Not Disturb

Each prayer has its own reminder settings. You can set an alert shortly before a prayer begins, and a personal reminder at a time you choose before or after the prayer. The app can also switch the phone to Do Not Disturb automatically when prayer time arrives.

Adhan voices can be downloaded within the app. Playing adhan at random from your own collection is a Pro feature, which is unlocked by upgrading to Pro.

Qibla, Hijri calendar and nearby mosques

The Qibla compass points you toward the direction of prayer. The Islamic Hijri calendar is included alongside the daily times.

The app shows the nearest mosque based on your location, so you can see where to pray when you are away from home.

Home screen, notification bar and Wear OS

Prayer times can be displayed on home screen widgets or in the notification bar, so the next prayer is visible without opening the app. You can change the app's color theme. Customizing themes further is part of Pro.

A companion app for Wear OS shows prayer times with complication data on a watch face. A Wear OS Tile is available with Pro.
