What Pythagorea is and who it suits

Pythagorea is a set of geometry puzzles where every figure sits on a grid of square cells. It is built for learning geometry through play, so it suits students and anyone who enjoys geometric problems.

The developer says each puzzle can be solved without complex constructions or calculations. Many tasks rely on spotting symmetry, regularity or a natural rule in the figure.

Drawing lines and points on the grid

The tools are deliberately minimal. You can draw straight lines and segments, and place points where lines intersect. Nothing else is available for building figures.

Because every object is drawn on square cells, the grid itself helps you line up lines and points. The developer notes that this limited toolset still gives an unlimited supply of different problems.

Looking up geometry terms while solving

The app includes a glossary of more than 70 geometry terms. You can open it at any point if you forget what a word means.

Terms that appear in a task's conditions are linked to the Info button, marked with an "i". Tapping it shows the definition of that term without leaving the puzzle.

Range of tasks and subjects

The collection has over 330 tasks, grouped under more than 25 subjects. The difficulty runs from very simple exercises to puzzles the developer describes as genuinely geometric.

Tasks are meant to be solved by reasoning about the figure: geometric intuition, natural laws, regularity and symmetry. That makes the same small toolset useful across the whole collection.
