This Android app does two jobs in one place: it reads QR codes and barcodes, and it generates new ones. The developer says it supports all QR and barcode formats.

It suits people who need to pull information out of a code, and people who want to make a styled QR code for a card, a flyer or a product.

Reading QR codes and barcodes

The scanner reads QR codes and barcodes, according to the developer's list of formats. Every scanned code is saved to the history, so an earlier result can be opened again without scanning it a second time.

Making QR codes with a custom look

A new QR code can carry plain text, a URL, a WiFi login, a contact card, a phone number, an email, an SMS, a calendar entry, a location, or a link to a profile or service such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, Spotify, PayPal, TikTok or LinkedIn.

The look of the code can be changed with frames, colors, corner markers (the developer calls them eyes) and patterns. Over 100 ready-made templates are included, grouped under themes such as Social, Love, Business, Festival and GIF.

Creating barcodes in common formats

Besides QR codes, the app creates barcodes in Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-E, UPC-A, Code 128, Code 93, Code 39, Codabar and ITF. These are the formats used for product labels, shipping and inventory tags, and similar printed items.

Saving, sharing and printing created codes

Scanned and created codes are both kept in the history, and results can be marked as favorites. A created QR code or barcode can be saved, shared or printed from the app.
