Send fast recharges and make international calls, because bonds know no borders.

Rebtel is a calling and top-up app for people who keep in touch with relatives or friends in other countries. The developer says it has been operating since 2006 and has more than 2 million users.
It covers two jobs: placing calls to international numbers, and paying for mobile top-ups on a phone overseas. Someone who regularly calls abroad or funds a family member's phone would be the main audience.
Rebtel places international calls through intermediary numbers, so the call is charged at local rates instead of international ones. The developer describes this as the core of the calling service.
The build we hold is Rebtel: Recharges and calls 6.84.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

To offer cheaper options, the app has to be allowed to detect when you are making a call. When it does, it suggests alternative ways to call the same number at a lower cost.
Top-ups are sent by selecting a destination country in the app, and the developer says they arrive within seconds. The listing names Cuba, Mexico, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Afghanistan as examples of destinations.
Coverage extends to more than 150 countries, so the same app can fund phones in very different places. Use it to recharge a relative's mobile without needing to be in the same country.
The developer says the app looks for deals and shows the best available rate for each call. This is meant to keep the cost of calling abroad as low as possible.
Calling and top-ups sit in the same app, so a user who sends a top-up and places a call can handle both without switching services.
