Red Ball 3: Jump for Love! Bou

What kind of game this is

Red Ball 3: Jump for Love! Bou is a jumping and platform game in which you guide a red ball through 20 levels. The story is a rescue. Pink, the ball's partner, has been taken by the Black Ball, and the way to her crosses green valleys, ravines, secret caves, rocky rifts, deserts and volcanoes.

It suits arcade and platformer players who enjoy timing jumps and working out how a level is meant to be crossed.

Switching between four ball forms

The ball takes four forms during play: a rosy orb that rolls, a bouncy ball that leaps, a balloon that bursts, and a rock that drops like a weight. Each form moves differently, so the same stretch of level can call for a different one.

Trolleys, lifts, helicopters and coasters

Some stretches of level move the ball by other means. The listing names trolley rides, lifts, helicopter flights and roller coaster races as part of the route, so a level can change from jumping across ground to riding through the air or down a track.

Finding routes through 20 levels

The puzzles centre on working out the best path through each level, with bottomless pits to clear along the way. Finishing all 20 levels earns a chance to choose a new skin for the ball.
