What Right Contacts is for
Right Contacts is a contacts app for Android. Its main purpose is to organise your address book and change how it looks, with a focus on keeping personal details private. The developer describes it as free and without ads or interruptions.
It suits people who want their contact list to look and behave the way they prefer, and who want certain contacts kept away from the rest of the phone.
Changing the look of your contacts
You can pick custom themes and colours, so the contact list reflects your own taste rather than the phone's default styling. The developer presents this as a way to shape the interface around how you use your contacts.
Because the theming is the main visual control, it is the first thing to set up if you want the app to feel like yours.
Private contacts and privacy
Private contacts are stored so that they are only accessible inside Right Contacts. According to the listing, other apps on the phone cannot see them, which is the point of keeping personal information confidential.
The developer also lists enhanced security for privacy as a feature, but the listing does not describe how that security is built.
Messaging apps and day-to-day contact use
The developer says Right Contacts integrates with popular messaging apps, so you can reach a contact through a messenger from within the contacts screen. The listing says the app is built around managing and contacting people in a way suited to your own habits.
Taken together, the themes, the private contacts and the messenger links cover the core of managing a contact list day to day.
