River Crossing IQ - IQ Test is a puzzle game built on one problem: how do you get everyone across a river when some people or things cannot be left together? Each level is a variation on that question, and the work is planning the order of trips in your head.

It suits players who enjoy logic puzzles and step-by-step reasoning more than fast action. The game is rated for everyone and presents its puzzles with simple graphics.

The three crossing puzzles included

The couples puzzle asks you to move three husbands and their wives across, with the rule that no wife can be left alone with a man who is not her husband. The wolf, sheep and cabbage puzzle has a boatman carry all three over, and the boatman has to stay with the sheep, since the wolf eats the sheep and the sheep eats the cabbage if left alone.

The money bag puzzle gives three men three bags of money to move across. If the total in the bags is more than the total the men own, they take the money and run away.

Loading the boat and moving across

You put a character or bag on the boat by touching it. The Let's Go button then moves the boat to the other side of the river. The puzzles turn on which pairs are left together on the same bank while the boat is away.

Hints and the full solution

The Help button opens the instructions for the puzzle you are on. If you get stuck, the Answer button shows the solution, so you can check the method without leaving the level.
