Goliath BV's app is made to be used with Scream The Game, the cooperative board game from Funko Games. The game is played in real time, so the table works against a clock the whole way through. The listing rates the app 10+.
The app itself does not replace the board. It supplies the voice of Ghost Face, who calls the players during the round. The listing says the voice is Roger L. Jackson's.
Through the app, Ghost Face calls players to taunt, threaten or stalk them. The calls are meant to keep pressure on the table while the group works on its scenes. The listing points to the printed instructions and a how-to-play video for the rules behind them.
The group's aim is to keep anyone from becoming Ghost Face's next victim. Calls come in as part of the same timed round, so players have to keep track of both the cards and the phone.
Hard Mode is switched on in the app's Settings. With it on, Ghost Face calls more often and the group has less time to finish the scenes.
The listing presents Hard Mode as the way to add challenge for players who want a harder version of the same round.
The narration defaults to Moderate language. A Strong language setting makes Ghost Face's narration more graphic and intense.

Players draw and trade cards as fast as they can to complete their scene. The round is won only if every scene is finished before time runs out and before any player is killed. If either happens first, Ghost Face gets the group and everyone loses.
