How the battleship grid game works
Sea Battle is a version of the classic naval guessing game, played on a squared grid. You place ships of different sizes on your side of the battlefield and try to find and sink your opponent's fleet before they do the same to you.
The listing adds a wider set of units than the original game. These include battleships, destroyers, bombers, mines, anti-aircraft defense and radars. Because you can position ships, aircraft, anti-aircraft defense and mines in different combinations, the listing says you can build your own approach to each match.
Launching aircraft and placing mines
Bombers let you launch aircraft across the board to drop large numbers of shells on a target area. This gives you a way to hit several squares at once, rather than one at a time.
Mines and anti-aircraft defense are placed on the board as part of your setup. Radars are another piece you can deploy. The listing presents them as options that work alongside your ships, so your placement decisions shape how the match plays out.
Playing online, with friends or a bot
Online mode matches you against players from around the world over the internet. You can also send invitations so that you and your friends play each other online.

Bluetooth play against nearby people
Bluetooth mode lets you set up battles against friends or colleagues who are physically nearby, without needing an online match. It is a separate option from the internet-based modes.
