Selling Services on Amazon

Who the Selling Services on Amazon app is for

The app is for two groups: business owners registered to sell services to Amazon customers, and technicians approved to carry out the work. A business has to be registered with Selling Services on Amazon before it can use the app. Applications to sell services are made through the program's website, not in the app.

Sign-in uses the Seller Central login ID and password. The listing describes the program as one that supplies the jobs, so the app is the working end of that arrangement for the people doing the jobs.

Reviewing and accepting service requests

Service requests from Amazon customers come up in the app, where a business or technician can review them. The listing presents this as the starting point of each job.

Requests are the first step in the sequence the app covers: review, contact, confirm, complete.

Contacting customers and confirming appointments

The app lets you communicate with customers about a job. Once the details are agreed, you can confirm the appointment from the same app, so the booking and the conversation about it sit in one place.

The listing does not describe how messages are stored or how far in advance appointments can be set.

Completing jobs through the app

When the work is finished, the job is marked complete in the app. The listing also says the app includes other tools beyond these, without naming them.
