Shonen Jump Manga & Comics

A Shonen Jump manga reader from Viz Media

Shonen Jump Manga & Comics is the reading app published by Viz Media for its Shonen Jump catalogue. The listing names series including My Hero Academia, One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball, Demon Slayer, Spy x Family and Kaiju No. 8. It is rated 12+, and it is aimed at readers who follow the weekly serialised shonen titles.

The app is built around reading chapters on a phone or tablet. It is one place to read current series and to work through older ones.

Reading chapters in landscape and dark mode

The reader can be turned to landscape to show two-page spreads at the size they were drawn. Light and dark display modes are available for the reading screen. New chapters are added weekly, and the listing says the latest chapters remain free to read.

Offline reading and syncing progress across devices

Chapters can be downloaded to read without a network connection. Creating an account syncs reading progress between devices, so a series can be resumed where it was left off on another device. Progress syncing depends on having an account.

Membership for the back catalogue

Membership unlocks what the listing calls a digital vault of more than 20,000 manga chapters. It costs $3.99 a month in USD, with a 7-day free trial to start. Prices may vary to match local currency.

Previewing and collecting graphic novel volumes

Paid graphic novel volumes can be previewed for free before purchase. The listing presents this as a way to start a new series or to finish collecting one already followed.
