This is the investor relations app for Sharjah Islamic Bank. It is aimed at people who hold or follow the bank's shares and want its market data, announcements and corporate documents in one place.
Its main jobs are showing the latest share price, collecting stock exchange notices and press releases, and listing upcoming investor relations events. The developer presents it as a way to stay current without visiting several sources.
The share price is shown on an interactive graph that the reader can explore over time. A Watchlist lets you follow the share alongside the market Indices, so both can be checked from the same screen.
The listing names performance monitoring as a core use, meaning the app is meant to be opened regularly to see how the stock is moving.
Press releases, stock exchange announcements and the investor relations calendar are gathered in the app. Push notifications can alert you to share performance changes, new news and upcoming events.
Notifications are the way the app reaches you when you are not looking at it, so a person who wants to know about a result or an announcement as it happens would rely on them.
Company reports and presentations can be downloaded to the device. Annual and quarterly figures are kept in step with an Interactive Analysis Tool, which the developer says synchronizes those numbers inside the app.
Because the documents can be saved, they remain available when there is no connection. The app supports both online and offline use of its content.
A built-in investment calculator works out the return on investment from figures you enter. It is one of the few tools in the app that works on your own inputs rather than on bank data.
The app also includes a user profile with personalization options, so the screens and alerts can be set to match what you follow.
