A digital Wear OS watch face for everyday use

This is a digital watch face for Wear OS smartwatches. The developer describes it as a simple digital design with a true black background, aimed at people who want the time shown plainly and little else.

Its main extra is space for data. Seven complication slots sit around the time, and the developer lists four complication types for them: short text, ranged values, monochrome icons and small images.

Digital time display and clock options

The face offers nine time styles. Each one changes how the digits are laid out, and the time can be shown in 12-hour form with an AM/PM indicator or in 24-hour form.

Several smaller toggles adjust the digits themselves. You can turn the seconds indicator on or off, hide the colon between hours and minutes, and remove the leading zero so that 9:05 reads as 9:05 rather than 09:05.

Seven complication slots for extra data

Each of the seven slots can be set to a custom complication. The developer links to a separate page of complication apps on its website, which is where the slot content comes from.

Because the slots accept different types, one slot might carry a line of text, another a progress-style ranged value, and another a small icon or image. The face keeps the time as the main element while these sit beside it.

Colors, backgrounds and icon tint

Colors come from Material color themes. The listing gives 60+ themes and 60+ subthemes, and a separate icon tint option colors the complication icons to match the chosen theme.

Backgrounds include five mesh background styles and a true black background. The developer says the layered images are compressed with PNGQuant, which it describes as battery friendly.

Ambient mode and battery use

The ambient mode, the reduced display shown when the watch is not being actively used, shows the time dimmed and without complications. It comes in two styles and can use adaptive color, which changes the color with the active theme.
