This page needs its stylesheet to be shown
The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

SmartNews is a news reader that pulls articles from established publishers into one feed. The listing names outlets such as Bloomberg, The Atlantic, USA Today, TIME, The Huffington Post, Bleacher Report, Quartz, The Verge, the Los Angeles Times, Vox, AP, Reuters, BuzzFeed and Fast Company.
It pairs that national and topic coverage with location-based local news and a points system for reading. The listing presents it as suited to people who want current news from several sources without opening each site separately.
The build we hold is SmartNews: Local Breaking News 26.10.10 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

The feed can be narrowed to the subjects you care about, so the stories you see are weighted toward them. Articles come from the outlets above, and the listing describes the selection as curated.
Because every outlet is listed by name, you can see which publishers a story comes from before you open it.
Points are earned by reading articles and by finishing daily reading missions. The listing does not give point values, so the rate is something you would see inside the app.
Points can be exchanged for gift cards from retail brands or turned into donations to charities you choose. Reading is the only earning activity the listing describes.
Local stories are chosen based on your location. Coverage includes government, traffic, weather, politics and school boards, which are the kinds of updates that matter for a single town or neighbourhood.
The local section also lists cultural events, hidden gems, restaurants, family-friendly activities and seasonal items such as a summer farmers market.
