What kind of game this is
Smartphone Tycoon 2 is a business simulation game in the Simulation category. You start your own smartphone company and run it as a business.
It suits players who enjoy building and managing a company over time, and who are interested in the phone market in particular.
Designing and releasing bestselling phones
The core activity is putting out phones that sell well. Each release is meant to be a bestseller that brings in the money and attention the company needs.
Over time you also reinvent new smartphones, so the lineup changes rather than staying the same.
Researching new technology
You explore new technologies to expand the business. Research is the route to better phones and to a bigger company.
The listing presents this research as the way to keep the company growing alongside the phones it sells.
Competing for the top of the phone market
The stated goal is to become the market leader. Your company competes to get there, against the rest of the phone industry in the game.
Along the way the company collects fans around the world, which is how the business grows its reach beyond one region.
What's new
Updating libraries and APIs. Fixing minor and critical bugs.
