What this water sort puzzle game is for

Soda Match is a colour-sorting puzzle game for Android in which you move coloured liquids between bottles. The developer, Agave Games, presents it as a way to unwind or to give your thinking a short workout.

It suits players who want a light puzzle they can pick up for a few minutes at a time, without a clock or fast reactions to manage.

Pouring and matching colors on each level

To play, you tap a bottle to pour its contents into another bottle. The goal on each level is to rearrange the liquids until every bottle holds only one color.

Because a bad pour can leave a bottle blocked, the listing advises thinking a few moves ahead. The controls use a single finger, so the same tap handles every move.

Level progression and puzzle difficulty

The game includes hundreds of levels. According to the developer, the first levels are easy and harder puzzles unlock as you advance.

This gives a gradual curve from simple sorts to more crowded bottles, so the same pouring rules apply throughout, with more to plan for in later levels.
