SOLARMAN Smart

What SOLARMAN Smart is for

SOLARMAN Smart is an energy management app for people who own solar PV equipment and want to follow how it performs. The listing names three setups it is built around: rooftop PV, balcony PV and energy storage systems. Each one gets its own monitoring view, so the screens are arranged around the equipment you actually have.

The app is aimed at owners and operators of these systems who want to check on them from a phone rather than from the equipment itself. The listing does not describe a separate mode for installers or businesses.

Adding a solar station quickly

The listing says a solar PV station can be set up in about a minute, without typing in long lists of details. The developer attributes this to its big data capabilities, which suggests the app fills in station information on its own. The listing does not say which details it fills in or how it finds them.

Cloud and local monitoring

You can monitor your station through the cloud or locally, and the listing presents the choice as a way to suit different needs. Cloud monitoring lets you reach the station from anywhere, at any time of day. The listing does not say what local monitoring requires or what it can show that the cloud view cannot.

Monitoring rooftop, balcony and storage setups

Rooftop PV, balcony PV and energy storage systems each get monitoring tailored to them. A balcony installation and a full rooftop array are different setups, and the app's views are meant to reflect that. The listing says little beyond this about what each view contains, so the specifics are not clear from the material available.
