What the Speedify connection bonding app does
Speedify is a connection bonding app for Android. It takes several internet links on one device and runs them together, so a drop on one of them does not stop what is running on top.
The developer lists Starlink, 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi and Ethernet as the links it can bond. The people it is described as suiting are those who rely on a satellite dish or a mobile link and cannot afford a dropped call, a stalled stream or a restarted upload.
How bonding splits traffic across live links
Most connection tools switch from one link to another when the first fails. Speedify keeps every available link active and spreads traffic across all of them. The listing says that a single dropout on one link is therefore never seen by the apps using the connection.
In the developer's examples, a video call keeps its session, a livestream keeps playing without buffering, and an upload carries on instead of starting again. The traffic that a failing link would have carried is taken up by the others.
Keeping Starlink connected through obstructions
The listing names three Starlink problems: brief signal gaps during satellite handoffs, obstructions from tree branches or heavy rain, and a power blip that takes the dish offline. Speedify is presented as a fix for all three, by bonding the Starlink link with a cellular, Wi-Fi or second connection.
When Starlink stutters, the developer says the other connection takes over the load straight away. Nothing in the listing describes how that switch looks or feels in practice.
Built-in VPN and the connection it runs over
Speedify also includes a VPN, which the listing presents as part of the same package that keeps the bonded connection secure. The VPN runs over the combined links rather than as a separate tool.
The listing does not describe the VPN's server locations or protocols, so the page can only say that it is included and that it is part of the bonded connection.
