Sphere Tally is a colorful two-sided score counter for games, practice sessions, friendly challenges, and any activity where two participants or teams need a clear running total. It replaces notes with a focused scoreboard that is ready in seconds. Start a session, update either side with large controls, save the completed result, and return to previous scores whenever you want to review them.
The opening screen presents a direct Play action and leads into the main scoring area. Two distinct counters are displayed side by side, each with its own color treatment and independent value. The visual separation makes it easy to identify which side is being changed, even during a quick exchange. Values begin at zero and respond immediately to every valid action rather than displaying a fixed example.
Each side has dedicated increase and decrease controls. Tap plus when a point is earned, or minus to correct an accidental addition. Scores cannot move below zero, which keeps the board sensible during normal use. Small animated reactions accompany score changes so users receive clear feedback without interrupting the flow of the activity. The current state remains visible throughout the session, allowing the scoreboard to be checked from a comfortable distance.
When a round or match is finished, save the result to the local archive. Sphere Tally records both final values together with the current date, then resets the active counters so the next session can begin cleanly. Empty zero-to-zero results are not stored, helping the history remain meaningful. If the current round should be restarted without creating a record, the Reset action returns both sides to zero immediately.
Saved results appear in the History area and can also be viewed beneath the active counter in a compact list. Each row shows the date and the paired score, using the same side colors as the main board. This consistency makes past outcomes quick to scan. When the archive is no longer needed, Clear All removes its saved score rows and returns the panel to a simple empty state.
The app stores results on the device, so the archive remains available after closing and reopening Sphere Tally. No sign-in or profile setup is required for the core scoring workflow. A high-contrast score preference is available in Settings for users who want brighter control emphasis. The choice is persisted locally and restored for later sessions, making the display behave according to the user's selected presentation.
Navigation keeps Score, History, and Settings in separate destinations while preserving a fast route back to the active board. Responsive transitions help clarify when the visible panel changes. The portrait layout considers system status and navigation areas, keeping interactive controls within comfortable reach and avoiding unnecessary visual clutter around the primary numbers.
Sphere Tally can support board games, classroom activities, training drills, informal competitions, family challenges, and other two-party events. The counter does not impose sport-specific rules, timers, penalties, or scoring limits, so it can fit many activities that use simple whole-number points. Participants remain in control of when a point changes, when a result is final, and when the history should be cleared.
The app is a convenient manual record. It does not verify official results, judge disputes, or replace a certified scorekeeper where formal rules require one. Saved values reflect the actions entered on the device. Users should confirm the displayed totals before recording an important final result.
With Sphere Tally, running a simple scoreboard stays straightforward from beginning to end. Open the app, start the board, adjust each side as the activity progresses, save the outcome, and begin the next round. The combination of clear controls, useful local history, and a memorable visual style makes repeated scoring easy without adding complicated setup or unrelated features.
