What kind of shooter Standoff 2 is

Standoff 2 is a first-person online shooter that is free to play. Its matches are built around small teams, so it suits people who prefer coordinating with others to running solo. According to the developer, it is more about personal aim and team tactics than casual play.

Matches take place on named maps, including Province, with its mountain terrain, and Sandstone, with its streets. The app is rated PEGI 16.

Weapons, recoil and controls

The arsenal includes AWM and M40 sniper rifles, Deagle and USP pistols, and the AKR and P90 rifles and submachine guns. The developer says each gun has its own recoil and spread, which it describes as the main way gunfights are meant to feel grounded.
