Step Tracker - Pedometer is a step counter for Android that reads the phone's own motion sensor. It suits people who carry their phone through the day and want a running count of steps without setting anything up each time.
Alongside steps, the listing says it logs calories burned, walking distance, duration and pace, and shows them as graphs so the day can be checked at a glance.
The build we hold is Step Tracker - Pedometer 1.7.2 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

The main counting mode runs on the built-in sensor. The listing says it keeps counting with the screen locked and works whether the phone is in a hand, a pocket, a bag or an armband.
The developer describes this sensor-based mode as the battery-saving option. It is the default when GPS is not chosen.
GPS tracking mode records a session in more detail. The listing gives distance, pace, time and calories for each activity, and draws the route on a map as it is walked.
Leaving GPS off does not stop the count. The app then falls back to sensor counting, so the step total is still kept.
Each metric is shown in its own graph, so steps, calories, distance, time and pace can be compared day by day. The listing presents these graphs as the way to check progress.
According to the listing, every tool in the app is available without a login or any locked features, and personal data is kept private on the device.
