Super Steps - Step Tracker

A step counter built around daily walking goals

Super Steps is a step counter for Android that ties everyday walking to a points system. The developer aims it at people building regular walking habits, from commuters and after-dinner strollers to people on longer walks in a park. The listing names office workers, students and families as intended users.

On the listing, the app has 500,000+ installs and a 4.41 average from 7,331 ratings.

Recording steps, calories and distance

Step counting runs automatically, and the listing says it records your steps in real time. Trend charts show your walking by day, by week or by month, so you can see whether a routine is holding.

The app also reports the calories you burn and the distance you walk each day.

Points, step goals, challenges and tasks

Completing a daily step goal earns points, and that is the core of the reward system. A Task Center offers small tasks to complete alongside walking.

Challenge Mode lets you join daily challenges, which the listing presents as a way to stay motivated.

Campaigns and walking events

Activity Events are special campaigns and walking challenges the developer runs inside the app. The listing describes them as a way to boost your routine.
