Swapcard - Smart Event App

What Swapcard is for at a conference

Swapcard - Smart Event App is a companion app for people attending an event. The developer says over 2 million attendees use it. You activate a profile with your email address, and then you can contact other attendees, exhibitors and speakers at the same event.

Its three main jobs are meeting people, following the programme and keeping track of the contacts you make.

Finding people to meet and booking meetings

The app's AI matchmaking suggests other participants who have interests in common with your professional needs. You review those matches, start a conversation with a person, and schedule an in-person meeting from inside the app.

Building a schedule and watching sessions

You bookmark the sessions you want to attend, and the app turns them into a personal schedule for your event day.

The app also plays live streams and on-demand content on your device, so you can watch talks on your phone.

Logging contacts and following up after an event

Instead of writing down business card details by hand, you add tags and notes to each connection in the app.

When the event is over, you export those contacts to your smartphone or to a CRM (customer relationship management) system for follow-up.
