TapCook is a meal planner that handles dinners and the grocery bill together. The developer presents it as a way to avoid choosing dinner at 6pm and discovering the cost at the till. It is aimed at people cooking at home who work to a set weekly food budget.
The plan and the shopping list are built as one job, so the list always matches the meals. TapCook keeps the total under the budget you enter, and it lets you adjust dinners and staples without starting again.
The build we hold is TapCook: Budget Meal Plans 2.1.3 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

You start by entering your ZIP code and choosing the grocery store you normally use. You then give the household size, the nights you cook, and the amount you want to spend. TapCook uses those inputs to build the dinners and the list.
Building and viewing weekly plans requires a subscription. The listing gives $9.99 a month or $29.99 a year, and the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial.
Each week produces a single grocery list with a total for the store you selected. The prices are estimates, not live figures from any retailer. They start from a national reference price for each ingredient and are adjusted for the chain and region you pick.
The developer says real prices change often and differ by branch, so the checkout total will differ from the estimate. TapCook is not affiliated with or endorsed by any grocery store, and store names appear only to show which store a plan was priced against.
Ticking off staples you already have at home removes them from the bill, for the current week and for later weeks. Disliking a dinner means swapping it, and the grocery list updates to reflect the change.
The dietary and "won't eat" settings are described as a convenience rather than allergen control. The listing asks you to check ingredients, measurements, cooking instructions, food-safety guidance and allergy information yourself before cooking.
