Tapedeck is a music store and streaming service built for fans who want to genuinely support the artists they love. Artists and labels set their own prices for streams and downloads, and they keep 80 percent of what fans spend. We use the remaining 20 percent to keep the lights on.
Every time you stream more than 30 seconds of a song on Tapedeck, the artist earns at least one cent (that is our floor, but artists set their own rates, so some may charge more). That’s about three times more than what major platforms pay.
There are no thresholds, complicated splits, or hidden conditions. One stream equals at least one cent. Always.
