What kind of puzzle game this is

Tetris® Block Blast is a block puzzle game from PLAYSTUDIOS US, LLC that uses the shapes of the Tetris brand, which the listing calls Tetriminos. You fit pieces onto a board to fill rows and clear them. The listing rates it All ages.

The developer presents it as a new game built on the familiar Tetris blocks rather than a straight copy of the original. It suits players who enjoy block puzzles and want the Tetris pieces in a new setting.

Clearing rows and building combos

Each completed row is removed from the board. If you clear rows one after another, the game counts them as a combo, and the listing says these combos earn extra points.

The listing also mentions Tetris exclusives within the game, though it does not describe them in detail.

Planning moves for line clears and high scores

The listing describes the game as strategic, where you plan where each piece goes so that rows fill in the right order. The developer frames the goal as reaching higher scores in each session.

Because the board fills as you place pieces, the placement of each Tetrimino affects what you can clear next. The listing presents this planning as the main skill involved.

Playing without an internet connection

The listing says the game needs no internet connection, so you can play anywhere without a network. That makes it usable on a commute or in other places where a connection is unreliable.

Offline play is the only connection-related feature the listing describes.
