What kind of game this is

The Island Castaway・Farm quest is a survival game set on a remote tropical island after a shipwreck. You are the leader of the people who washed ashore, so the job is keeping them fed, sheltered and out of trouble while you work out how to get home.

It is filed under Action games. The game is free to play and can be played offline or online, and it supports Google Play game services.

Building farms, pits and shelters

Most of the early work is construction. A fish farm produces eels, a quail farm raises poultry, and a crab farm traps shellfish, so the castaways have a steady food supply. A clay pit, a liana farm, a lumber mill and a stone farm supply the materials for shelters.

Two smaller producers round out the set: a boar farm, a ram farm, and a stick plant that supplies sticks. The game tracks 40 types of resources, which you collect, prepare and store across the camp.

Cooking dishes and brewing magic potions

The game lists 28 native dishes to learn to cook from the island's ingredients. Rare plants found while exploring feed a separate line of brewing.

Five potions can be made: protective, transfer, speed, immortality and spirit protection. Protection matters on the island, so the potions are one of the ways you prepare for dangers you meet while exploring.

Quests, mysteries and optional bonuses

The story runs through more than 1000 quests. Some involve deciphering strange markings on the ground, collecting ancient statues, and defeating a crab monster, which uncover the island's secrets. You also meet 33 characters along the way, and you can build collections of trophies and statues.

The game is free to play. Optional bonuses can be unlocked through in-app purchases from inside the game, and in-app purchases can be turned off in your device settings.
