The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Read The Straits Times on the go!
By Mei-Lin Chua
Contributing editor, apps and storefronts
The Straits Times is the news app from SPH Media Limited. It carries the paper's reporting in several forms: written stories, trending pieces, visual journalism, video, podcasts and short summaries of the day's news. It suits people who want the news in different lengths, from a quick summary to a longer read.
Trending stories and visual journalism sit alongside the written news. Video and podcasts are included, so the same subject can be watched, listened to or read. Bite-sized summaries give the main points for readers who do not have time for the full article.
The build we hold is The Straits Times 11.6.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 11 and up.

Topics can be saved and followed inside the app. The listing presents myST+ as the way to tailor the feed to these choices, so the content shown reflects the subjects a reader has picked. Saving and following are both available from the start, with no sign-up described on the listing for the basic reading features.
The app is free to download. Subscribers get unlimited access to exclusive stories and interviews and to in-depth investigations. A subscription also includes a digital replica of the print edition, so the paper can be read on a phone in the same layout as the printed copy.
