What the scanner is for
Tiny Scanner is a document scanner that converts photos taken with your phone into PDF files. The listing aims it at paperwork, IDs and handwritten notes, and says it suits people from seniors to students.
Beyond document scanning, the app adds modes for reading QR codes, measuring objects, counting identical items and solving math problems. Those extras sit in the same app as the scanner, so one tool covers both.
Capturing and cleaning up pages
Automatic border detection uses AI to find the edges of a page, so the scan is cropped without manual corner dragging. Batch scanning lets you capture several pages of one document in a single run.
Professional filters adjust how a scanned page looks, and the app can compress file size. Finished scans can be shared in several ways, according to the listing.
Scanning IDs, passports and driver's licenses
The listing describes a dedicated mode for passports, ID cards and driver's licenses. It says these scans are handled securely, but it does not say how.
This mode is for turning identity documents into digital copies. It is separate from the general page scanner.
Reading QR codes, measuring and counting
QR code recognition reads a code through the camera and opens the link it contains. The listing presents this as automatic.
Measuring mode takes the length of an object and calculates its area. A separate mode recognizes identical objects and gives a total count. A math mode recognizes a written problem and returns the answer.
Editing and sending PDFs
The listing says the app includes a full set of PDF editing tools, and its summary mentions signing documents. Scans are converted to PDF, so the editing and sharing features work on the finished files.
The listing does not break down which editing tools are included, so the specifics are not covered here.
