A task list app for home, work and free time
To Do List is a task manager for Android published by Splend Apps. The listing describes it for everyday use at home, at work and in free time, so one app covers all three.
Google Play shows it at 4.78 stars from 930,764 ratings and more than 10,000,000 installs. The developer describes its core as managing tasks in a simple, convenient way.
Sorting tasks into separate lists
Tasks can be gathered into their own lists, so work items and household jobs do not have to share one long list. Each list keeps its tasks together for review.
The grouping is the main way the app organizes tasks, and it is the first thing to set up if you want work and personal items kept apart.
Home screen widgets and task reminders
The home screen widgets show your tasks on the launcher, so you can see what is outstanding without opening the app. The listing describes them as showing what to do at a glance.
Notifications are sent for tasks at the point they need attention, rather than on a fixed schedule. The developer says these alerts are timed to the moment a task is due.
Syncing tasks with Google
To Do List syncs with Google, so the tasks you keep in the app can be carried across to your Google services. The listing presents this as a built-in part of the app rather than a separate add-on.
The listing does not describe any other service or platform for syncing.
