What the OneDrive plugin is for

This is a plugin for Total Commander, the Android file manager, rather than a separate app. Once installed into Total Commander, it lets that file manager reach your Windows Live OneDrive cloud storage. Anyone who already works in Total Commander and keeps files on OneDrive is the person it is written for.

The plugin does nothing on its own. It has to be used through Total Commander, so someone who does not use that file manager would have no use for it.

Connecting Windows Live OneDrive accounts

Access to OneDrive is tied to a Windows Live account, so you need one before the plugin can reach your cloud storage. The listing says this is the only account type it works with.

The plugin supports more than one OneDrive account. Each Windows Live account you connect appears as its own cloud drive inside Total Commander.

How the plugin fits into Total Commander

The plugin sits inside Total Commander's existing setup and does not replace it. Your OneDrive accounts are reached in the same place you manage the rest of your files, so local storage and cloud storage are handled through one file manager.

The listing describes the plugin as a Total Commander plugin only, with no separate interface or standalone operation. Use it through Total Commander or not at all.

Who uses OneDrive through Total Commander

The plugin suits Total Commander users who keep some or all of their files on OneDrive and want that storage in the same file manager. People with several Windows Live accounts are covered, since multiple accounts are supported.

It does not suit people looking for a standalone OneDrive app, because it is built to extend Total Commander and nothing else.
