BUILD YOUR DREAM TOWN!
By Mei-Lin Chua
Contributing editor, apps and storefronts
Township casts you as the mayor of a town you build yourself, with a farm running alongside it. The game combines city building, farming and match-3 puzzles in one app.
It is free to play, but the listing says some in-game elements, including randomized items, can be bought for real money. It suits players who want to plan a town and also have a puzzle game to switch to.
The build we hold is Township 39.1.2 (APKS split bundle) for Android 5.0 and up.

The core loop is placing houses, factories and community buildings to grow the town. The listing describes the town as a metropolis you design yourself.
Decoration is a separate layer. The listing says the game offers a wide variety of decorations to personalise the town, and it lists a cast of characters with their own personalities who live in the community.
Crops are grown on your farm, and the farm sits within the same town-building game rather than as a separate app.
The listing also mentions collections of artifacts, rare antiquities and profile pictures. These are presented as ways to show off your progress.
When you want a break from building, the match-3 puzzle levels are the alternative. Completing levels earns rewards, and the listing says those rewards can speed up your progress in the town.
The listing states that puzzle play does not need a Wi-Fi or internet connection, so it can be played offline.
The game runs limited-time events and regattas, which the listing describes as a way to earn exclusive prizes. Regular updates are said to add fresh content and special events.
Competitions pit you against players from around the world, and you can also play with Facebook friends or meet new people in the Township community. The listing says an internet connection is required for competitions and some additional features.
