What Traxxas Flight Link is for
Traxxas Flight Link is an Android app for the Traxxas Aton. It is aimed at owners who want to check and adjust their Aton from a phone or tablet instead of working through the unit's own controls.
The listing describes it as a way to get more out of the Aton's built-in features. Its use depends on owning the Aton and a Traxxas transmitter, since the app connects to both.
Connecting to the Aton and transmitter
The app connects wirelessly to the Aton and to the transmitter using Bluetooth Smart. Once connected, the listing says the Aton can be monitored from the same Android device.
Because the link is wireless, no cable is named in the listing for setup. The connection is the only route the listing describes between the phone or tablet and the Aton.
Adjusting settings with on-screen sliders
Settings are changed by touching and dragging sliders on the screen. The listing says this is how fine adjustments are made, without stepping through nested menus.
The listing states that all tuning can be done from the Android device. The app is presented as the single place to make those changes.
Screen layout and high-definition controls
The controls are drawn in a high-definition graphical interface. The developer presents this as the way the app replaces the menu screens found on the Aton itself.
The listing gives no list of individual setting names or tuning parameters, so the exact controls available are not described here beyond the sliders and the Aton's built-in features.
