This page needs its stylesheet to be shown
The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Simply Scalable Security

UniFi Protect is the phone version of Ubiquiti's web-based camera security application. The developer says it has the same functions as the web version, so you can run a Protect camera setup from a mobile device.
The developer positions it for both residential and commercial use. It suits a homeowner who wants to check cameras from anywhere, or a business that needs the same control over its camera system.
The build we hold is UniFi Protect 3.8.3 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

The app lets you adopt your Protect devices and manage them from the phone. Adoption is the step that connects a camera to the system so it can be configured and used.
Once connected, the developer says you can open low-latency live streams from the cameras. Low latency means the picture arrives with a short delay, which matters when you want to see what is happening now.
UniFi Protect can download recordings directly to your phone. The developer describes these as localized recordings, meaning the footage is saved to the device itself rather than left only on the camera system.
For longer periods, the app offers Timelapse footage. The developer says you can scrub quickly through hours of it to find the exact moment you need.
The developer says recordings are kept in Cloudless storage, which it presents as a way to maintain complete data privacy. The listing does not describe how Cloudless storage is set up, so the specifics come from Ubiquiti rather than from this page.
Because recording storage is handled this way, the footage is not described as passing through a cloud service. That is the developer's own description of the design.
You can personalize security notifications. The developer lists detections for individuals, vehicles and atmospheric conditions, so you can choose which kinds of events trigger an alert.
This lets you keep alerts for the events you care about and filter out the rest, rather than receiving every motion event from every camera.
