A proxy client for servers you already have

v2RayTun is an Android app for routing phone traffic through proxy servers. The developer states that it does not sell VPN access, so you must create or buy a server yourself and configure it before the app has anything to connect to.

It suits people who already have a working server configuration or who run their own. The app's job is to hold those connection details and send traffic through them.

Protocols and adding a server configuration

The app supports VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks and SOCKS. A single client can therefore work with servers set up on any of these protocols, without a separate app for each.

Configurations come in by scanning a QR code, pasting from the clipboard, opening a deep link, or typing the key by hand. Each route gives you a way to bring in a server you were sent or generated elsewhere.

Encryption options and Reality (xray) transport
