Watching live video, replays and shared cameras

Live streams open in the app from anywhere, and recorded footage can be replayed in the same place. The developer lists this as the core remote monitoring function.

Device sharing lets a camera be shared with family members, so several people can watch the same feed together.

Speaking through the camera

Voice talkback lets the person using the app speak through the camera while away from the site. The developer presents it as a way to talk to someone at home from elsewhere.

It is one of the few features in the listing that works in both directions, with the phone as the speaking end.

Motion alarms, snapshots and tracing

Motion detection raises an instant alarm when the camera sees an abnormal situation and captures a picture at that moment. The footage from the event can then be reviewed to see what happened.

Motion trajectory tracking is listed as automatically recording a moving subject's path and tracing it in real time when an alarm fires.

Cloud storage for camera recordings

Recordings can be stored in the cloud, so footage remains available if the camera is lost, stolen or damaged. The developer says the cloud data is encrypted.
