Vampire — Night Road

What kind of interactive horror novel this is

The listing rates it Mature 17+ on Google Play and shows 3.67 stars from 1,861 ratings. It suits people who enjoy reading interactive fiction and vampire horror rather than action games with visuals.

Making deliveries before sunrise

You play an elite vampire courier who has spent ten years carrying information and supplies between cities across the desert. The core pressure is time: each run has to reach its destination before dawn.

Along the way you have to outrun vampire hunters, assassins and other drivers. The choices you make in these moments decide how each run turns out.

The hunters and the plot behind the runs

The story is set after the Second Inquisition's hunters hacked phone lines and computer networks to expose and destroy vampires around the world. The elders responded by turning to undead couriers.

The main plot begins when an old friend returns with a plan to disrupt the blood trade across the American Southwest, and the courier's routine starts to fall apart.

Reading and choosing your way through

The novel runs to roughly 650,000 words, and your decisions control how the story unfolds. Because the game has no visuals, the reading experience depends on your own imagination to picture the settings and characters.
